Dr. Eugene Seals, my father, is a beloved doctor in the Saginaw County area. He was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan and education was important to him. He was a teacher for 10 years before deciding to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Despite obstacles and people's lack of belief in him, Dr. Seals defied the odds and became a doctor at 47 years old, with eight children. Dr Seals is an inspiration to all those who have a dream to continue to pursue that dream until fruition. 
 
Dr Seals, Genie Boy, faced many obstacles on the journey to his dream. This story encourages youth to dream big and be resilient despite obstacles. Children will learn to be inspired, empowered, resilent,  and encouraged to explore new ideas and concepts.
