Eugene Seals, Jr. is a powerhouse of leadership, resilience, and purpose, currently serving as the President & CEO of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce. A celebrated athlete, dynamic coach, and inspiring mentor, Eugene's journey has taken him from championship courts to community boardrooms — and he's never stopped leading.

Athletic Achievements

A two-time Dream Team selection, 1999 SVL MVP, and Runner-Up for Michigan’s Mr. Basketball, Eugene was named First Team All-State (1999) and Third Team All-State (2000). He earned All-USA Honorable Mention by USA Today in 2000 and ranked as the #36 Nike All-American, also representing at the Wendy’s Classic.

At Miami University (OH), Eugene earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in the Mid-American Conference and still ranks:

• 9th All-Time in rebounds and blocks

• 15th All-Time in steals

Following college, he played six years professionally overseas in Spain, Macedonia, Mexico, and Colombia — bringing his fierce defensive mindset and team-first leadership across the globe.
