 Dr. Delicia Pruitt has been practicing medicine for over 20 years as a Family Medicine Physician. Her current roles include CMU Medical Director of the Community and Population Health and Medical Director of the Saginaw County Health Department, where she provides medical guidance to residents and medical professionals in Saginaw County. Her research areas of interest are maternal health and end-of-life care.  Her former job was the Program Director at Central Michigan Medical Educational Partners in Saginaw, MI. In this position, she served as the lead educator for the training of medical residents and students.

Moreover, Dr. Pruitt is a mother to four children, Brianna, Destiny, Brian, and Diamond, and a wife to Brian for over thirty years. Due to her life experiences, she educates both the public and medical professionals on health, wellness, family values, and multiculturalism. She has spoken at many conventions, conferences, and churches over the past 30 years. Her goal is to positively impact the people in the United States, improving families, health, and well-being.
